Too Faced’s holiday collection this year is quite extensive, with a few palettes a makeup carousel and some lipstick sets. They go above and beyond with their themes and packaging and this year was no exception.
This year’s theme is ‘What pretty girls are made of’ named after that old school poem where girls are made out of sugar and spice and all things nice and boys are made of slugs and snail and puppy dogs tails… or something like that.. Anyway…
This set is the biggest one out of the holiday collection and has a bit of everything in it. It contains a makeup bag which is hot pink and covered in thick chunky glitter and chunky gold bauble for a zipper. It is a good size but it’s also very ‘in your face’ with the glitter and the sparkle. Its ok, not sure if I would use it to be honest, but it does hold brushes and it’s a good size that will be useful I am sure.
In the set is also a deluxe sample of the ‘Better Than Sex’ mascara which is hands down my total holy grail best-mascara-ever mascara. (click here to see review) so I am very happy to get a travel size one of these.
Inside the palette you have 20 eyeshadows, 2 blushes, 1 bronzer, 1 highlighter and 3 mini travel brushes – so as I said.. a bit of everything.
Starting on the lower half with the face products, I was a bit disappointed in these to be honest. The colours you get are:
Sweet Pink – a hot pink blush with gold glitter
Papa Don’t Peach – A very shimmery peach
Chocolate Soleil – a matte bronzer
Inner Light – A light gold shimmer with glitter
The brushes are nothing to write home about, they have a glittery handle to stay with the christmas look, but the quality is very poor and I wouldn’t bother using them.
I found the blushes to be powdery and not overly pigmented. The highlighter comes across as being very glittery and unfortunately the bronzer isn’t one I can use as its slightly too light for my skin tone, but I do like the Chocolate Soleil as a product.

When it comes to the shadows there is a large of selection of colours. They range from neutral, mattes, shimmers and lovely jewelled tones. You can see what I thought about the shadows in-depth in my video review – but some of them are a bit hit and miss.

If you are wanting to get this palette you can get it now from Mecca here in Australia for $74. To be honest for that price and the quality of the products, maybe have a look through your collection and see if any of these colours you already have, and maybe think if you really need it. If you are all into christmas sets like I am, then go for it! lol
What are your thoughts? Will you be picking this palette up this year?
