The NARS and Christopher Kane Collection was released in Australia last Monday and I rushed down to check it out. As a whole collection, it didn’t blow my mind but I had to get at least one thing because, well, look at the packaging.
I picked up the NARS ‘Outer Limits’ Eyeshadow because it just looked magical.
Apart from the packaging and the look of the shadow, I was a bit disappointed in the shadow.
You can see my thoughts here:
Pros:
Limited Edition Packaging
Beautiful Glittery goodness (to a point) – Gorgeous to look at!
Cons:
Too much glitter.
Way too much fall out, which continues throughout the day. (I noticed glitter in my dogs fur from giving her a hug)
Pigmentation in the shadow is lacking

Alternative Shadows for consideration
Makeup Forever D-708
Makeup Forever D-750
These shadows aren’t exact dupes, but they share similar hues to them.
D-750 has the same pink tone which you get from the duo chrome shift in the NARS ‘Outer Limit’ shadow.
D-708 has the warm copper tones that you get from the NARS shadow.
If you could combine these shadows you would get an exact dupe with less fallout.
Here are some swatches:
